With over two decades of experience, my surgical background includes cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, advanced minimally invasive laparoscopic and da Vinci robotic procedures, and complex oncologic operations in urology, gynecologic oncology, and colorectal surgery. I have also participated in numerous emergent trauma surgeries.

This website was created with one clear purpose: to help people better understand surgery and learn how to avoid it when possible. After more than twenty years in the operating room, I have seen firsthand how many procedures may have been prevented through greater awareness, earlier medical care, and smarter lifestyle choices.
